Additional Resources
We are excited to continue training and playing in line with UK Government guidance and Stage 4 of England Netballs roadmap for the return of community netball .
While most of the previous rules and format changes have now been removed, we still need to remain aware of some of the risks and more generally how we will conduct activities at Downsend, Freemans and during league fixtures. In line with England Netball requirements, we continue to:
1. Have a designated a COVID-19 Officer to help lead the implementation of the clubs risk management plan and required processes
2. Conduct an additional risk assessment specific to COVID-19 alongside our existing measures where necessary.
3. Review our COVID-19 risk management plan.
We also wanted to share some existing resources with you and strongly encourage everyone to read through them ahead of the season restarting in January 2022. We will also continue to work closely with colleagues at Downsend School, London City of Freemans School and the various league bodies.
We will update this page as and when required to reflect any further changes and communicate these via year group admins as normal.
Please be assured that the safety and wellbeing of club members and the AAS community remains our top priority.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the Club Chairperson, Jane Arnett on jane.bluecedar@hotmail.co.uk
IMPORTANT - to participate and play netball you must click here to read the Opt-in Guidance. Participation in training or matches will be taken as an agreement to abide by club policies and protocols and that you/your daughter are doing so with awareness of the Opt-in Guidance.
